About Us

Noks Thai Street Food provides the freshest and most authentic taste of Thai food you’ll find outside of Thailand itself.

Chef Nok Is originally from the north of Thailand Chiang Rai in a rural village called Theong. An agricultural village where their main income is from growing sticky rice; you can find it on our menu too!

Nok enjoys home cooking and learnt a lot of her cooking skills from her Mother and older sister P’Khon. Nok moved to the UK in 2008 with her husband Steven and worked her way up ranks in her local Thai restaurants before opening her own restaurant in 2015, with her new inspiration for Street Food!

Nok and Steven have traveled throughout Thailand together but they always like returning to the bustling streets of Bangkok, their favorite city and their favorite place to eat. They say Chinatown offers the best of Thai street food.

This love for Bangkok will become very clear when you step into their restaurant. Providing enough room for 40 covers their restaurant is designed to feel like you’re eating at the famous Jek Pui – possibly the most well known Streetside curry cart in all of Thailand.

The influence from Bangkok does not end in the restaurant. Nok and Steven can often be found in their Food Truck at markets and festivals around Greater Manchester and Cheshire. This trailer is also available to hire for private parties and they can provide catering too! (Click here for more information!)

While there is a fully licenced bar stocked with local gins and draft beers (Yes, they have Singha), you are encouraged to do as the Thai do and bring your own drinks!

There is a dedicated specials menu that changes seasonally to ensure your taste buds are always excited and there’s new food for you to experience. From sizzling steaks covered in Penang sauce, to Pineapples filled with a secret fried rice. We promise, you won’t have seen anything like these dishes in the UK.

As a family run restaurant there is nothing they love more than seeing other families enjoying their time together. That’s why children are able to eat for half price!

If you can’t escape the house to visit just yet, don’t worry, they offer takeaway too. (Click here to start your order.)
